After a very, very LONG season the FPBL 2011 Fall Season came to a close yesterday. A total of 131 teams made the playoffs and 14 League Champions in 3 different age classifications were crowned FPBL Fall Season League Champions. After a season where rain was a factor throughout the season, the league finally completed all of its division and league Championship Games yesterday. The winners in yesterday's games were. 11u AAA Northstars who defeated the Okeeheele Vipers who earlier in the day beat the Weston Black Hawks to get the Finals. 12u AAA had the Wildcats take down the West Boca Panthers in a back and forth game. The Wildcats also beat the TC Younguns. 13u AAA The SF Eagles took on the Jupiter Hammerheads and defeated them to win the League Championship, the Hammerheads took care of Teamrays to get to the finals. To ALL Congratulations !!! Special Thanks to Rob, Lloyd Walker, Jim Longstreth, Mike White, David Dominguez and Plantation Athletic Dept., Miramar Optimist Club, West Pines Optimist.
